Players... Practice will be Sunday in Stevi. 1:00pm. Lineman will be in Helmets and Shoulder Pads. All others in helmets.

There will be no practice on SUPER SUNDAY, but Practice will resume the following Sunday, 1:00pm in Stevi. Check back on Saturdays, for any weather delays or changes.
Practice could be moved to the Corvallis field or indoors, if needed. Once again, check back on Saturdays for any updates.
Once again on Player Fees. The 2012 season fee, is $100 for each player. Each player also has the option of picking up Sponsors to compensate for their Player Fee. If any player gets $200 from one, or a combination of Sponsors, then their Player fee is $0.
If anyone has questions related to Player Fees, contact your GM, Mike Schrapps.
For former Blaze Players. If anyone has not turned in their gear, please contact one of your Coaches to arrange a time and place to return these items.

The 2012 season is about to kick into high gear, and for many players and coaches, the time off has taken much too long. It is good to shake off the rust, and for many, this Sunday was already your second practice.
The league meeting took place over the weekend, and once again for 2012, we will remain in the AA division.
There are a few new teams, and just as many that have disbanded. This ultimately, will affect our schedule this year, some things for the better.
As soon as the 2012 Season Schedule is finalized, it will posted on here, so keep checking back.
There are many new Blaze faces so far this year, and this helps to fill the void for the few we have lost. These new guys are good to see, and already, there is an excitement in the air. The changes to the Roster will be reflected, as soon as all the player information is gathered.
Players Contracts and the Insurance Statement are available for download on the Team News page, and as updates come in, they will be posted there.
Also, for those with questions for your Coaches, their contact information is posted in the "Coaches" section of this site. Do not hesitate to call or email if there is anything that is on your mind. That is what they are here for.
Thanks, again to the Blaze fans and families who make all of this possible, and with your support again in 2012, it has the makings for another great year for Blaze football.

2012 is here, and it is time for some Blaze football. Starting 1-29-12, Blaze practices will be held at the Stevi practice field at 1:00pm,
and run until approximately 4:00pm. QBs and Receivers need to be ready to go at 12:30pm to run routes. This schedule will remain in effect through February, or until further notice.
ATTENTION: All players; your Player's Fees are $100, the same as past seasons, due by March lst. And, as always, it is the responsibility of the player to have an Insurance Policy in effect. This is a league policy and is strictly enforced.
As they become available, Insurance Links, and Player Contracts, etc... will be available for download on this site. Check back often for updates.

Players, our home Playoff game against Missoula will be in Darby, not Corvallis. Kickoff is at 7:00pm, so you will need to be at the field by 4:00pm for our walk through.
As with all home games, be in your Red jersey.

Players, the game time against Great Falls is at 5:00, so be at the field by 2:00pm for our walk through. This is a home game so we will be wearing our Red jerseys.

Players, the game time against Gallatin Valley on Saturday has been changed to 4:30pm, and players need to be at the field in Belgrade by 2:00pm for our walk through. This is an away game, so we will be wearing our white jerseys.
If anyone does not have a ride to the game, call Buckie to make arrangements.

Blaze Players, for our next game against the Sabercats, all players should be at the field in
Ontario, by 2:00pm Saturday. This is a long drive, so be sure to leave early. If anyone does not have a ride, give Buckie a call to see who you can carpool with.
This is an away game, but bring your "RED" Jerseys. It is the request of the Sabercats that we be in our home colors.

Blaze Players, for this Saturday's game against the Diggers, our walkthrough will be at 4:30pm.
They will be having a Track Meet at the field, so we will be doing our walkthrough at the old Corvallis field behind the school.

The practices this week in prep for the first game Friday against the Phoenix will be Tues, Wed, and Thurs, at 6:00pm at the Stevi field.
For those that do not have their player contracts or Insurance information in yet, it is very important that this is handled this week.

Blaze players, we will be having our scrimmage this Saturday, April 9th, 7:00pm at the Corvallis home field.
It is important that all players make the scrimmage. Any players who do not have their players fees and paperwork turned in, bring this to the game as well.
For new players and those that do not have their complete uniforms yet, these will be handed out at the scrimmage.
This is a full dress, live scrimmage. Come prepared to hit.

Players, practice will be helmets and shoulder pads Sat. Mar. 12th. and Sunday the 11th.
Those new players who do not have their equipment yet need to get with Buckie so that all players can be dressed out for Saturday's practice. Practice will be at 4:00pm on Sat. and 2:00pm on Sunday.

Starting this weekend, Feb 19th, and 20th, practices will be Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00pm, unless posted otherwise. It's time to gear up and get ready for
the start of the season, and all players need to get there and get to work. For those players from last season who will not be playing, they need to contact Buckie and return
all equipment.

Sundays practice for Jan. 23rd is canceled due to weather conditions. Players, we are in need of an indoor facility
for practices, when the weather conditions leave the ground frozen, to avoid injuries. If any of the players has access to a gym or warehouse space,
between Corvallis and Missoula, give Buckie a call.

The league meeting was held last weekend, and due to travel concerns, all 7 Montana teams
will remain in the AA division for the 2011 Season. The AA will have 16 teams in two divisions. The North will consist of the Montana teams, and the South the 9 Utah and Idaho teams.
Here is a summary of other points discussed during the meeting. For the full minutes, refer to the league site.
- The 2011 Season will begin on April 9th, As soon as the schedule is released, it will be posted.
- There will be no games played May 28th, nor July 2nd due to Holidays. Playoffs will begin June 18th.
- The Playoffs will be formatted for a North vs South championship game, easing travel for the earlier rounds.
- Four teams from each division will be eligible for the post season.
- Tie breaker rules will go in order of, Overall record/Head to Head/Mutual opponent/Strength of schedule/Coin toss.
- The Mercy Rule: The clock will run if a team is behind 35 points, unless the losing team can come within 21, then the clock management will return to normal.
- The six foot rule is as follows: By rule, no person can be within six feet of any part of the field during game play. The coaches’ box is also changed per 2010 high school rule, not allowing any player or coach within the six foot retainer line during game play.
- Lastly, no profanity will be tolerated by the officiating crews. Any profanity or vulgarity that the officials believe can be heard by spectators will result in an Unsportsmanlike penalty.
Practices will begin soon for the upcoming season. Any new players are encouraged and welcome to come out. As soon as the practice schedule is released, it will be posted here.
